Summary

VroomEV is an engine sound simulator for electric vehicles. The app runs entirely on your device. We operate no servers, collect no personal data, and do not track you. No advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.

Data the app reads

VroomEV uses the following on-device sources while you use the app:

• Accelerometer — to detect acceleration and improve engine response. Processed in real time on your device, never stored, never transmitted.
• Local network access — to connect to your S3XY Commander OBD dongle over its own local WiFi network. Only used to read vehicle data (RPM, throttle, speed). No internet traffic.
• Location (optional) — if you enable GPS speed mode, your device's location is read locally to estimate speed. Used in memory only, never stored or transmitted.
• App preferences — your selected sound pack, volume, gear configuration and similar settings are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. They never leave your device.

Data we do not collect

• No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identifiers of any kind
• No driving data logging or recording
• No analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party tracker
• No user accounts

Third parties

The only third-party device VroomEV interacts with is the S3XY Commander OBD dongle (manufactured by Enhance Auto), which you choose to connect to. Communication with the dongle happens over its local WiFi access point and never leaves that local link.

VroomEV is an independent third-party app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. or Enhance Auto. Tesla, Model S/3/X/Y, and S3XY Commander are trademarks of their respective owners.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no user data to request, export, or delete on our side. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences from your device.

If you have any questions, you can contact us at [email protected] at any time.

Children

VroomEV is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
